ROOF BASE - EAVES INSULATION

The AIRTIGHT® eaves insulation is a pre-formed strip of glass wool sealed in a vapor-resistant film, with a sliding film on the top surface. It is installed before placing the prefab roof elements. During the placement of the roof element, the eaves insulation is compressed to tightly seal the eaves gap and the space behind the wall plate, providing both airtightness and thermal insulation.

When using the AIRTIGHT® eaves insulation, it is unnecessary to seal the wall plate with foam (PUR) or compression tape.
