Airtight connections

With the AIRTIGHT® Airtape, joints between construction elements (10-30mm) can be thermally insulated and sealed airtight.

The patented Airtape is delivered as a vacuum-compressedstrip of mineral wool, encased in a vapor-resistant PE film. Once the vacuum is released, the tape is clamped into the gap: the wool expands and completely and securely fills the entire space between the construction elements.

Airtape is ideal for sealing air leaks in variable cavity widths, commonly found in prefab construction. Thanks to its thick film, the tape is moisture-resistant. Additionally, it accommodates the expansion and contraction of building materials, ensuring long-lasting and durable airtightness of the structure.
